Saved views let you keep different Canvas setups and switch between them instantly.
Starter and Watchlist views
Canvas always includes a system-managed Watchlist view, even when your watchlist is empty or temporarily unavailable. It mirrors the markets you follow, with one live widget per favorited series that has an active market, up to Canvas’s 12-widget limit. Add or remove its markets through your Kalshi watchlist; manual market-add controls are hidden inside this view. Like the Kalshi watchlist, recurring series use their earliest-closing open event. When a daily or hourly series rolls forward, the same widget switches to the next open market instead of keeping the settled occurrence. It refreshes as your watchlist changes and keeps the last good snapshot if the feed is temporarily unavailable. On your first visit, Starter view also has a live Bitcoin market next to a ghost tile that prompts you to add your own market or perpetual. New tabs you open later start from the empty state, not the Starter.
Working with views
- Tabs across the top of the Canvas switch between your views. The + creates a new one.
- Your changes auto-save to the active view as you work.
- Saved views capture your tiles, layout, columns, and panel mode.
- Views are cached in your browser for instant startup and sync to your Kalshi user properties so they follow your account across devices.
The ghost tile
Any empty Canvas (a fresh tab, or after clearing) shows the ghost tile, a search box plus a list of trending markets and perpetuals. It’s the fastest way to start building a workspace from scratch.
